PEOPLE NEED THE GOSPEL<\/strong>
Everyone needs an understandable presentation of the good news that Jesus saves. For many people that understandable form is an oral form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MANY LANGUAGES DON\u2019T HAVE CHRISTIAN SCRIPTURE<\/strong>
Only about 10% of the world\u2019s languages have a complete Bible; oral Bible stories can help fill that gap while Bible translation continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EVEN IF TRANSLATIONS ARE FINISHED, MANY CAN\u2019T READ IT<\/strong>
An estimated 80% of the world\u2019s population does not read well enough to understand the Bible, even if they have one in their language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ORAL METHODS ARE EFFECTIVE<\/strong>
Cultures have used story, song, poetry, ceremonies, apprenticeships, recitation, etc. to transmit their culture for generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ORAL BIBLE STORIES ARE APPEALING<\/strong>
Many people enjoy hearing the stories of the Bible more than reading them; they are more willing to believe the stories they\u2019ve heard and discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRADITIONAL ORAL ART FORMS ARE REASSURING<\/strong>
Presenting biblical content in familiar oral formats conveys that Christianity does not destroy cultures\u2019 art forms but redeems them and enriches them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
